Concrete basements, tunnels, tanks, pipes, ducts, swimming pools and many other structures can leak ground or stored water via cracks that have developed in the walls and floors through original casting, kicker and expansion joints, porous concrete and around pipe entries. Injected leak sealing is a way of stopping specific leaks directly.
Instant hydroactive Polyurethane injection is highly effective and extremely fast way of stopping water leaks. The Polyurethane resin is injected directly into the source of the running water leak and reacts quickly with the water to form a closed cell flexible Polyurethane plug. It penetrates deeply into the structure filling poreholes and micro cracks and so forming a long lasting plug.
The foam pouring out of the cracks in the picture below has reacted with the water. The foaming is more expansive because it has reached the open air and freely expands. It penetrates the full length of the crack and follows the water to its source. When trapped within the structure it cannot expand freely and is restrained allowing a closed cell structure to form the seal. Different grades of Polyurethane and gels are available for numerous site situations......
